About Anderson Automotive

Anderson Automotive opened doors of its auto repair facility in November of 1996. Prior to the creation of the shop, its owner, John Anderson, was an auto mechanics instructor at JCVTS in Olathe. His wife, Teresa Anderson, was employed as County Archivist for Johnson County, Kansas Government. Currently, Teresa works part time at Anderson Automotive as she has accepted a position as City Clerk for the City of Gardner, Kansas.

John and Teresa are both Accredited Automotive Managers. This prestigious designation was earned from the Automotive Management Institute. Students earn the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation after completing 120 credits of AMI education and a requisite self-study course. According to AMI Headquarters, there are only ten others that hold the AAM in the State of Kansas.
