Stop by to see our new Waste Oil Burner. We can now recycle used engine oil!

Anderson Automotive is thankful to be a part of such a wonderful community. We believe that Winston Churchill was correct when he stated, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”

We are active in the Olathe community. The Anderson Automotive Staff volunteers for Westar Energy’s Greenteam, Angel Babies, Positive Changes, Beak N Wings and other local not for profit organizations. We support the Olathe Fishing Derby, Faternal Order of Police, and kid’s baseball teams. We belong to N.F.I.B. and A.S.A., as well. Anderson Automotive has received the Green Star Award from the Automotive Service Association. The Mid-America Regional Council has presented Anderson Automotive with a Certificate of Appreciation for being an AirQ Workplace Initiative Partner in 2006 and 2007. These certificates were presented for contributions to improving the air quality in our community.

Anderson Automotive also believes in being kind to the earth! We recycle many of the items used in the shop. Some items include: paper, printer cartridges, soda cans, plastic containers, oil, antifreeze and other fluids, metal, tires, freon, and batteries. In January of 2008, a Waste Oil Burning Unit was installed to heat the shop. This allows us to recycle used oil.

When visiting the shop you can see our saltwater fish tank. We love to share fragments of coral with friends. By doing so we can do our part to protect our reefs from overharvesting!
